KINGSTON – It was a non-league game on Saturday at Dietz Stadium, but the Tigers sent a message to anyone within ear shot that Kingston can score from a bunch of different directions as 10 players scored in the Tigers 13-8 win over Columbia.
It was a back and forth game through the first half with Columbia scoring just before the first half ended to tie the game at 5. Columbia came out with some momentum in the second half and started putting some points on the board, until Kingston kicked it into high gear to win it with eight second half goals to Columbia’s three.
Jack Uhl, Drew Carpino and Ty Carpino led the Tigers with two goals a piece. Josh Timbrouck, Matt Amato, Chapman Parker, Janner Mejias, Aidan LoBianco, Kevin Collins, and John Prizzi each scored one goal.
Owen Stefanko led Columbia with 4 goals, John Haykins, and Shane Wyman scored two goals each.
The Tigers are a perfect 5-0 and will face league rival Newburgh on Wednesday, back at Dietz Stadium. Game time is 4:30 p.m.
