KINGSTON – The Kingston softball team brought their hitting shoes to Thursday’s game against Warwick.
Collectively, Kingston banged out 17 hits. Seven players in the lineup had a multiple hit day leading to a smashing 13-1 victory. Lauren Shambo did the rest, on the mound, allowing just two hits to go with 10 strike outs.
Megan Peace and Jessica Chilcott did the majority of the offensive damage. Both hit 3 run homers. Peace added two doubles to her plate performance.
Sydney Bonewit and Alyssa Fino also had a three hit day with three singles.
