VIDEO: Highland Explodes for 17 Goals vs New Paltz

HIGHLAND – The Highland Huskies were trying to break a three game losing streak, and after a 7-0 after one quarter of play against league rival New Paltz on Friday, there was little doubt this would be the game that breaks the losing streak.  Highland went on to win big 17-3 thanks to a six goal day from Chris Hammond.

Jack Young scored four goals, Roger Hegeman had three goals.  Mike Case scored two, and Jesse Weaver and Christian Canino scored once.

Daegan Cronin scored 2 of New Paltz’ three goals, JC Rigano had the other one.

Lenny Casabura had seven saves for the Huskies and Giovani Guide had 9 for New Paltz

The Huskies are now 2-3 overall and 1-0 in league play.  New Paltz is 1-2 overall and 0-1 in league play.
