MARLBORO, NY – The combined schools of Highland and Marlboro make up the Highland boys lacrosse program that has won consecutive sectional titles, but visiting Warwick was able to score six unanswered goals in the second quarter and that proved to be the difference in Wednesday match at Marlboro high school.
Highland recieved a five goal performance from Chris Hammond. Christian Canino, Jesse Weaver, Jack Yong, and Mike Cerniglia each contributed with a goal.
Warwick got four goals from Eric Ormsby and Chris Malota had the hatrick.
Lenny Casabura had 10 saves in goal for the Huskies.
Sam Steng had five saves.
Highland is now 1-3, Warwick is 1-1.
